We are currently seeking systems engineers to help us deliver best-in-class services to our federal government clients. Position Overview: You will be responsible for application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and field programmable gate array (FPGA) design and component verification methodology, software/VHDL development, software and hardware engineering principles, life cycle sustainment concepts, system integration, technical planning, software documentation, code review, and test engineering concepts as they relate to cryptographic equipment and cryptographic equipment development. More specifically, you will work as an integral member of a tight team resolved to Provide the government customer with technical engineering advice and assistance regarding the design, development, manufacture, acquisition, lease, launch or operation of space and ground based Communications Security cryptographic equipment types. Assist the customer with assessment of equipment vendor's technical approach to the development of cryptographic equipment types, components, and systems. Assess vendor's cryptographic designs, drawings, procedures, and test plans/results for the customer to ensure technical accuracy and proper application of system engineering principles. Verify and validate that software and hardware designs meet the security and technical requirements outlined in statement of works associated with the development of cryptographic equipment. Manage programmatic risks for customer, providing feasibility analysis, risk assessments, documentation reviews, prioritization, supply chain management, and execution of risk mitigation activities. Assist the customer with management of system life cycle phase transition planning for cryptographic devices from acquisition, through operations, maintenance, sustainment, until decommission. Participate in the NSA security verification process to assist customer with certification activities for cryptographic devices. Position Requirements: 3+ years of experience with systems engineering or similar engineering discipline Experience with ASIC/FPGA design Education: Bachelor's Degree (MS) in Engineering Discipline, or Computer Information Systems (or a similar discipline) is required. Professional cert. such as Security +, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or similar is desired Security Clearance: AN ACTIVE TS/SCI + POLY REQUIRED Must be eligible to obtain and maintain, or currently possess Top Secret SCI Poly clearance.
