Tempus is seeking ambitious, focused, and self-motivated individuals with a desire to build a successful profession in a global growth industry to join our sales team as an SDR (entry level). As a Foreign Exchange Sales Development Representative (FxSDR) you will be a hunter on the front lines of our sales department. Reaching out and searching for potential clients, qualified for our services and reaching set milestones along the way. No FX or finance experience? No problem! Our 12-month training program will teach you a thing or two about the FX market, international business, and finance from the bottom up. Tempus is dedicated to providing all the tools you need to build an exciting and prosperous future with our firm. From the initial FxSDR role all the way up to the Managing Director role. Option to work in our LA, DC, or NY office. As a FxSDR, your responsibilities will include: Researching targeted industries, including non-profit institutions and identifying new business opportunities for your Managing DirectorProactively establishing contacts using cold calling. e-mailing methods and networkingEstablishing rapport with qualified prospects, identifying key decision makers, and scheduling meetings and conference calls when appropriate.Contact 80+ prospective costumers per day.Under the direction of your Managing Director you will: Be involved in the sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline development, and competitor informationAnalyze clients' business objectives, identify their FX risks and international payment needsMeet and exceed "contributed" sales revenue targetsPrepare for promotion to next level of sales director Qualifications:Four-year degree, preferably but not requiredExcellent skills in verbal and written communicationInterest in salesHigh degree of professionalism, with a confident, assertive styleEffective time management skillsStrong desire to succeed; self-motivated; self-starterMust be coachable and willing to try different techniquesAbility to maintain positive demeanor in spite of rejections Tempus does not offer relocation assistance.
