RF Electronics Technician (test, troubleshoot, calibration) - New, urgent technical job opening! Howard County, MD Experience with RF Theory and electronics testing equipment is a plus (o-scopes, multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.)Experience troubleshooting and testing electronics hardware in the past is a plus This employee will be responsible for:Development of system and subsystem test capability in support of programs (Acceptance Test), products (Factory test) and developmental projectsThe Electronic Technician will take the lead in supporting the development of test capabilities based on system requirements and engineering group input, as well as supporting independent test execution and field level operational test capabilityProvide design support, complex analysis, troubleshooting, rework, repair, calibration, inspection, and maintenance duties on a broad application of complex electronic instruments, assemblies, subassemblies, standards and systemsMay work off site with little or no direction, deployed in the field or working directly with ENA's customers in the fieldResponsible for supporting engineering design, integration, test, calibration and verification of complex products and systems for air, ground, vehicular, and manpack applicationsResponsible for performing assembly, test and evaluation of products and systems consisting of RF, analog and digital hardware, and softwareResponsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, reworking & repairing complex instruments, assemblies, subassemblies and systemsResponsible for leading prototype and LRIP product assembly and test from prototype thru the Production Readiness Review process (PRR)Responsible for checking and redlining production documentation for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, and accuracyParticipate in quality improvement of Elta developed products to include recommendations for design updates, manufacturability considerations, and testability improvementsAssist in writing procedures and plans to ensure manufactured equipment meets all the specifications required by the customerExcellent communication skills required to interface with customersAbility to balance quality and on time deliveryPerforming essential functions listed with consistent exercise of discretion and judgmentIDEAL QUALIFICATIONSMay require the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business communityMust be able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly and test documentationMust be able to understand job duties and responsibilities, have necessary job, technical and equipment skills/knowledge and keep current with new developmentsStrong knowledge of computer applications is requiredBusiness skills and business knowledge requiredComplete understanding and current knowledge of industry practices is requiredMust be skilled in managing a fair work load and obtaining results, taking on additional responsibility, managing priorities and developing work proceduresMust be accomplished at targeting and achieving results, goal setting, prioritizing tasks, overcoming obstacles, establishing team standards and responsibilities and creating a results-focused environmentMust be proficient in accuracy and attention to detail, commitment to quality standards, making continuous improvements, measuring and monitoring quality levels, owning and acting on quality problemsMust have knowledge of appropriate software applications and effectively use specialty softwareMust promote mutual respect, keep the workplace safe and clean and support company and department safety standards and programsMust have math skills commensurate with job knowledge and requirementsIn-line Edit About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
