Key Responsibilities - Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues - Prepare and/or review returns for corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax return, estimated payments and extensions - Preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers - Tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners - Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities - Provide both leadership and supervision to Tax Staff - Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for trusts - Perform tax research - Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authoritiesMinimum Qualifications: - Progressive 4 - 5 years? experience in Individual TAX PREPARATION - Heavy client interaction hands on approach - Tax Planning Analysis - Being able to work as a team and provide training to staff accountants and interns - Motivated to support a senior manager with workload and delegation.
