They are looking to hire a new Senior Property Accountant to handle the accounting activities for a portfolio of 10-14 properties covering the following main duties ? Prepare monthly financial statements for review by Controller and debt compliance reports as well as other reasonable duties assigned by management. ? Perform accounting for the recognition of rental revenue under GAAP, and prepaids. ? Maintain CAM worksheets, year-end accruals, prepares invoices for property managers ? Support with auditors in annual audit. ? Tracks Commissions, Fixed Asset additions and disposals, records depreciation and reconciles to the GL, posts and adjusts journal entries and accruals. ? Analyze variances between actual and budget on monthly property financials. ? Compute tenant percentage rent and initiating billing when necessary. ? Review work performed by others as directed by Controller and CFO. ? Must take initiative to gather information and solve issues.
