You will manage financial modeling on a range of financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans in this position. We will be relying on you for advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. As a team member, you will serve as a key business partner in areas like forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. How you will make an impact - This position would best fit a flexible individual who has experience managing expectations and feels comfortable working with a large amount of information - Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Complete and direct forecasting reports - Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations - Perform extensive research on the underlying internal and external drivers that are affecting performance and trending - Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Work closely with business partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans - Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required - Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and PL forecasting - Operate with key senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing - Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity - Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience a plus) - Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Revenue reporting experience preferred - Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel - Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics experience - Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience desired - Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - BA/BS degree in finance or a related fieldAccountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
