Steer is a start-up backed by the nation?s largest provider of clean energy, Exelon.? ?PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONThe Director of Growth Marketing will be responsible for Steer?s overall marketing and growth strategy. This role is critical as high-growth customer acquisition is crucial to our success.? This person must have deep experience in translating customer journeys into a digital experience because Steer?s business spans across digital marketing, the Steer app and in-the-field customer service.? We need someone who can turn data-driven insights into a comprehensive marketing strategy, with an emphasis on digital (eg social, communications, media). This dynamic person must be as comfortable leading internal and external teams as rolling up his/her sleeves to turn strategy into execution.? The Director of Growth Marketing will work very closely with Steer leadership and across teams to drive growth goals, support better member service and inform the technology roadmap. This role will get a 360 view of the business with an opportunity to grow with an exciting start-up form the ground up!?PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Develop comprehensive growth marketing plan with the objective of filling the customer funnel and improving conversion rates, including priority distribution channels, types of content, responsible owners, optimal delivery cadence, etc.- Serve as our digital marketing expert; collaborate with peers and manage external partners to elevate marketing campaign execution, content distribution and measurement, content SEO and creative- Develop and manage content strategy to increase customer engagement (eg social posts, testimonials, blogs, website, communications copy).- Update Steer digital marketing guidelines periodically to leverage new insights and best practices.- Lead and/or support new marketing campaigns, press pitches, events, test new tactics, etc. to accelerate funnel growth.?2. Partner across teams and manage external partners to improve Steerev.com user experience leveraging data insights and qualitative feedback from Steer teammates and members.- Collaborate across teams and external partners to support "Digital Roadmap" and report monthly progress to senior leaders3. Lead and manage staff that supports customer facing digital products; focus on high value functionality that drives to greater user experience and adoption.? - Develop marketing team staffing plans, with emphasis on growth and talent.- Includes significant external vendor relationship management.4. Contribute to reporting metrics, with emphasis on key KPIs such as app downloads, member growth, CAC and channel ROI, as well as report-outs to leadership.? - Includes supporting Steer leadership with internal and external stakeholders.5. Prepare and manage budget for area of responsibility.??Qualifications?POSITION SPECIFICATIONSMinimum:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, digital strategy, business administration, or computer science.Minimum of 5-10 years in marketing, marketing management, digital strategy, digital product management, business execution, or information technology; minimum of 5-10 years in developing digital strategy plans end-to-end and managing digital products.Deep experience with consumer products.Creative problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, an understanding of group and corporate dynamics, integrity and the demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment in complex situations Preferred:Passion for cars, technology and/or sustainability.
