Our client, a well established, software firm in Tyson?s Corner is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong full-cycle general ledger, reconciliations, account analytics, pre-audit prep and closing background.? They are seeking qualified candidates to become part of a strong, successful accounting and finance team. You will be a part of:?? ?Supervision and hands on maintenance of general ledger;? ?Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable;? ?Weekly disbursement processes to include reviewing a/p invoice entries and batches;? ?Record and reconcile monthly deferred and recognized revenue & expense and related fees;? ?Preparation of journal entries associated with reconciliation;? ?Processing payroll to include journal entry and employee payroll file updating;? ?And other general functional area responsibilities as they may arise.Qualifications:?? ?A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field? ?Strong Microsoft Office experience, primarily with Excel? ?At least two to three years of general accounting experience? ?CPA or MBA a plus? ?Excellent verbal and written communication skillsQualified candidates please apply here!
