SUMMARY: This position is part of a team responsible for the accurate consolidation and reporting of the Company's financial statements, which includes key responsibilities in the areas of consolidation, foreign currency, intercompany transactions and balance sheet analysis, supporting external financial statement filings with the SEC, and technical accounting research. This position will work closely with corporate, segments and regional finance teams, as well as treasury, tax, legal, and human resources teams within the organization. PRIMARY DUTIES: Coordinate the global consolidation of monthly financial results, including reviewing the intercompany reconciliation process to ensure proper elimination and researching and resolving data discrepancies Perform the monthly analysis of the impact of foreign exchange and currency translation adjustments Prepare/review the Company's monthly statement of cash flows Analyze accounts receivable, statement of cash flows and balance sheet for development of management and board presentations related to key metrics and trends Provide information to support the Company's quarterly and annual SEC filings, including the preparation of certain financial statement footnotes and liquidity section of MD&A Provide accounting support for subsidiary equity and loan transactions as well as changes in the Company's legal structure Assist in the intercompany reconciliation process and record entries for intercompany transactions Provide information to support the preparation of statutory financial statements Assist with the updated design, and ongoing operation of the Company's intercompany settlement process Identify and implement operational process and internal control improvements as part of continuous improvement initiatives SKILLS: BS/BA in Accounting, CPA required 3 years of overall experience, with Big 4 or national public accounting firm and large company private accounting mix preferred. Strong and practical working knowledge of US GAAP accounting Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills High competency in Microsoft Excel #LI-AR1 SDL2017
