The MIL Corporation seeks Project Manager to support the Program Management of a financial management system for a Federal Government client

  • Coordinate projects through all phases of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and evaluation.
  • Support scheduling, cross-agency meeting preparation, facilitation, meeting minutes, and cross-agency communications.
  • Lead the monthly status meetings and coordinate annual meetings, and IRS-1099 reporting.
  • Responsible for conducting projects in a timely manner, ensuring the quality of work products, maintaining financial soundness of the project, managing interactions, and reporting progress and issues.
  • Ensures conformance with work standards; interprets policies, procedures, and goals and objectives of the organization. Coordinates work effort with all parties.
  • Reviews work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to design concepts and user requirements.
  • Responsible for client liaison.

Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of project management experience with financial management systems
  • Knowledgeable of SDLC with significant expertise in managing systems projects
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute
  • Knowledgeable of Agile/Scrum
