Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Business Process Senior Consultant to support a Federal Government client with the business process reengineering of a financial management system.

Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities, to streamline business processes, improve internal controls, as well as opportunities to reduce long-term system and agency operational costs.
  • Review and develop business process documentation, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to re-engineer business processes.
  • Guides development of business process improvement and reengineering strategies & activities.
  • Leads organizational change and development efforts.
  • Coordinates work with technology teams to help ensure people and process goals are aligned with technical requirements.
  • Maps and redesigns key business processes affected by technology changes. Facilitates work and communication between client and consulting staff and executives.

Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of professional experience performing business process improvement and change management tasks
  • Experience supporting federal financial systems
  • Knowledge of requirements gathering techniques
  • Knowledge of development methodology and standards
  • Advanced problem solving, analytical and design skills
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Momentum
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CGFM, CMA, CIA, or CICA.
