We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to control the time, cost and quality of construction projects from beginning to end. They will plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors. The Construction Project Manager will handle both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the projectNegotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreementsObtain permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsPlan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be metAcquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequaciesHire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilitiesSupervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when neededEvaluate progress and prepare detailed reportsEnsure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues QualificationsMinimum ten (10) years proven experience as construction project managerAbility to read blueprints, structural drawings and plan setsAdvanced understanding of risk management policies and proceduresExtensive experiencing managing budgets for large construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipmentOutstanding communication and negotiation skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsBSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant fieldPMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage Benefits Paid time offHealth InsuranceDental Insurance401KPay frequency (Bi-weekly)
