Our client, a leader in program management and e-commerce technology to both the government and commercial clients, is seeking a financial analyst for a contract opportunity working onsite at a government facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in federal financial accounting OR audit, and will be able to pass a clearance background screen. They will be working onsite with a government agency in the Alexandria/Arlington area.Primary Responsibilities Provide technical accounting and advisory support. specifically in the area of financial statement audits and audit remediation Prepare weekly status reports Act as the liaison between the external auditors and client Review PBC requests and track delivery Prepare certification metrics Assist with risk assessment deliverables Qualifications BS in either Accounting or Finance Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Demonstrated experience supporting a government agency Functional knowledge of Oracle preferred Past experience in internal controls, audit policy and GAAP
