Wood Environment and Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Wood) is currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support our Program/Construction Management (PM/CM) Practice. This full-time position will report to our Washington, DC area office located in Chantilly, Virginia.Position Summary and Responsibilities:This full-time Construction Project Engineer position will work closely with Wood project teams executing general contractor construction projects. This position may support design-build, engineering-procurement-construction (EPC), and design-bid-build procurement and execution for various construction project types, including vertical new construction, building renovation, and/or civil/site infrastructure. Responsibilities include: support project and construction managers by gathering/analyzing cost and schedule input, assisting in subcontractor procurement support, visiting project sites, leading construction progress meetings, coordinating RFIs and submittals, supporting proposal development, and preparing project closeout documentation. Skills / Qualifications We are seeking self-motivated professionals with: 2+ years of relevant construction experienceUndergraduate degree in engineering, construction management or related degree, or equivalent experience in a construction related positionExcellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, and decision-making skillsExperience with construction plans and specifications, tracking RFIs and submittals, and developing project documentationExperience tracking and analyzing cost and schedule, and knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera desiredMust be willing to travel as required to support our major and minor programsMust pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
