US Citizens or Green Card only Coveros is seeking Senior Agile Software Engineers to provide software development engineering services to our teams and customers. The Senior Agile Software Engineer is a critical member of the agile development team focused on using technical agile practices to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications. Senior Agile Software Engineers are expected to participate effectively in all parts of product creation including inception, MVP creation, and iterative product delivery. Coveros Senior Agile Software Engineers must have significant experience working in agile environments and be able to apply, and coach others, in the application of agile principles in technical activities. Responsibilities Collaborate with business teams, other developers, testers, and operations teams to define, implement, and deploy high-quality software applications in an agile environment Implement, configure, and deploy software development tools required by teams to increase agility and productivity Coach and mentor teams and younger developers in agile technical practices such as Test Driven Development, refactoring, and Behavior Driven Development Take on Technical Leadership roles on agile software development teams as required Participate in Thought Leadership activities by writing blogs, delivering internal knowledge sharing sessions, and, as needed, creating and delivering live-virtual and in-person technical training Assist Coveros management in identifying potential consulting opportunities with new and current customers Required Qualifications 8+ years of software development experience 5+ years working on and with agile software development teams using a framework such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe through several release lifecycles BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree Experience implementing all stages of the software development lifecycle Experience with multiple modern programming languages such as Java, C, Python, Ruby, Javascript Experience working with andor implementing Continuous Integration and DevOps pipelines Experience with test implementation and execution, measuring metrics, and reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Coveros is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to a policy of non-discrimination in employment on any basis including age, sex, color, race, creed, national origin, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, political belief, or disability.
