As a Transaction Coordinator you will work on the Contract to Close team that oversees all administrative details throughout the contract process, freeing agents to focus on building client relationships and advancing their business. The Transaction Coordinator will support the Transaction Associates who serve as the first point of contact for all parties involved, ensuring a smooth path to settlement. From document preparation to deadline tracking to requesting online testimonials, your goal is to make life easier for agents and clients every step of the way. You will also work hand in hand with local lenders and title companies, bringing extensive experience and strong industry contacts to each and every contract you process.At Compass You Will Track documents for large volume of real estate transactions Ability to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on content Process real estate contracts for DC, MD, and VA in internal database Support Transaction Associates with various tasks such as email preparation, addenda preparation, appointment orders, etc Delegate projects and assignments amongst Contracts Team Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes Professionally handle incoming requests from agents and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly Pinpoint key issues and gaps in the contracts process What We're Looking For 1-2 years of real estate experience preferred Strong knowledge of the real estate laws in three jurisdictions: MD DC VA Strong critical thinking and analytical skills In-depth knowledge of Real Estate Transaction Coordination and Compliance - MLS, Zipforms, DocuSign, Google suite, experience with Salesforce a plus Experience with best practices in real estate transactions Strong written and verbal communication Highly Organized Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Continuous desire to improve existing processes Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and problem-solve with minimal supervision
