Emerging Technology Software Developer - Python - Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning Location Sterling, VA Durtion 6-12 Months + W2 or Corp-Corp Local to Virginia or Nearby States 2-3 Days onsite and 2 Days Remote The Emerging Technology Software Developer works as part of Technology Development Strategy, Our internal research and development team. The team defines, builds, and deploys new tools for our global media pipeline. The team is currently focusing on using machine learning tools to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and utility of our content supply chain, but is constantly investigating new technologies that could provide opportunities for us. An ideal candidate is an outside-the-box thinker who enjoys solving complex challenges with innovative solutions. The Developer would also work closely with our Content Supply Chain development team, assisting with supply chain workflow design and coding when not working on other Emerging Technology projects. Responsibilities Develop utilities for optimizing the output of machine learning tools from Amazon, Google, and other providers Develop, test, and train machine learning models using common ML frameworks and tools Develop prototype applications for proof-of-concept demos of new technology and concepts Develop Python-based workflow scripting for the SDVI Rally platform based on defined requirements and workflow logic Develop RESTful API connections to other content systems to add new information to the content supply chain or to publish information to other systems Required Skills and Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in software development - Python, Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning An eagerness and aptitude for learning new tools, techniques, concepts and languages (Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning) Strong understanding of general purpose coding languages and logic Experience building applications and tools inside of AWS or GCP Full-stack experience creating both application back-end components and user interfaces Competency in Python V3, NodeJS, C++, Java, SQLServer Experience building and implementing basic databases Background in creating and using RESTful APIs Experience with JSON structures for metadata and scripting Experience working as part of an agile software development team Computer Science or comparable degree or relevant coursework or experience 3+ years of experience working in software development Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning and PYTHON
