JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Program Manager provides comprehensive overall management of Family Centers, ensuring that the programs and services are in accord with best practice standards, contract and grant requirements, and agency practices and procedures. Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, staff management, and quality practices of all assigned program; seeks and develops outside funding sources; and liaises with external community partners. Supervisory Responsibility: Provides administrative supervision of 7 FTEs and functional supervision of 12 FTEs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage and oversee the overall operations of the Family Centers in support of program goals and objectives. a) Work with Program Managers to ensure that program goals and outcomes are met based on contract and grant requirements and best practice standards. * Provide leadership and direction to all Family Center program managers and consultants; supervise program managers, which includes recruiting, staffing, hiring, performance evaluation, training, and exploring staff development needs and opportunities; conduct regular program managers' meetings; and facilitate team dynamics. * Oversee the management of budget and expenditures of assigned programs to ensure that funds and resources are used efficiently. a) Develop overall program operating budgets and provide fiscal direction to the assigned programs. * Oversee liaison activities with community partners for all assigned programs by attending community seminars, outreach events and government/private foundation events; and participate in government hearings to advocate for Agency and Family Center programs. * Work with Program Managers to establish and implement development goals, ensuring that resources are available to sustain the program. a) Identify potential funding opportunities in collaboration with the department director and Development department. * Work with Program Managers to maintain quality program practices, ensuring compliance with best practice standards, contract grant requirements, and agency practices and procedures. Requirements EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: * Master's degree in Social Work or related field. * 5 years of progressively responsible non-profit experience in program management. *3 years of supervisory experience.
