CAPREIT owns and manages multifamily housing communities across the US We are recruiting for a dependable, organized, team player to work within the Property Accounting group with accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of multi-residential properties. The Property Accountant is responsible for for monthly financial accounting for several properties. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:-Preparation of financials-General ledger postings-Bank reconciliations-Variance analysis-Review of site transmittals-Accounts payable processing-Performing all other duties, as assigned Qualifications:The Property Accountant must be proficient in Excel, able to efficiently utilize technology in completing assignments, have excellent interpersonal/ verbal/written communication skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision necessary. A minimum of 3 years accounting experience and Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
