Security Clearance Level Top SecretSCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Job Description In need of a Senior Network Engineer with strong System Administration skills and experience, specifically in Linux environment. The Candidate will perform application testing involvingrequiring RedHat Linux or advanced general Linux knowledge troubleshooting of standard daemons and tools (NFS, NTP, BIND, APACHE, SYSLOG, logrotate, chkcong, init scripts, curl, general networking, etc.) The successful candidate will be procient and able to apply their knowledge and experiences in the following areas bull Must provide System Administration (SA) service for Linux infrastructure and development systems ndash practical experience with RedHat Yellow Dog Updater (YUM) and RHCT or higher certication is highly desired bull CentOS 7 experience covering new technologies like system and firewalld bull Virtual machine technology including VMWare and KVM. This includes the day-to-day tasks of creating, destroying, configuring VMs but also working to automate those tasks bull Configuring and deploying systems via Kickstart bull Automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, andor Puppet bull Knowledge of DHCP, DNS bull Dell PowerEdge servers bull Cisco ISR and UCS platforms bull Juniper network systems bull Familiarization with shell scripting languages such as Ruby, KSH, BASH execution and analysis bull Maintain scripts for loading machines using KickStart and Puppet manifests and performverify system congurations bull Familiarization with container technologies such as Docker and VMWare bull Working knowledge of Windows server and domain administration bull Proactively contribute to team and recommend technical and procedural enhancements bull Work closely with other team members and demonstrate independent skill set The candidate should be capable of working with multiple teams of engineering and software development personnel to assemble, reassemble, integrate and install operating systems and application software to build mission system. They will enable and support the integration, testing, and production of new mission systems. They will generate robust system baselines that are suitable for easy deployment to lab and field suite installations and produce installation and configuration manuals to support deployments. They will exercise developmental software on newly deployed systems for formal software testing. Support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology systems. Provide System Administration services for Linux UNIX infrastructure and development systems (scripting, loading machines using KickStart, system conguration, utility configuration such as auditing, antivirus, syslog and system hardening). Support the build and software integration of new mission systems and supporting architecture and under development (clientserverstoragenetwork devices, etc.). Ensure systems are kept in required configuration profile, including patch maintenance, updating software and software configurations. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installsloads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
