The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.Job OverviewComcast is in the process of modernizing many of its back-office programs and services within the Customer Xperience Technologies (CXT) department. As part of the DevOps Tools domain within CXT, the Application Delivery Tools (ADT) team helps other software development teams by providing the necessary internal tools to deliver the customer and frontline employee facing applications and support services being developed across the Technology, Product, and Xperience (TPX) department.Job SummaryWithin the CXT department, there are teams distributed across multiple Comcast software development centers operating within the domain. This particular role will lead one of those teams focused on key applications (Album, LaaS, MaaS, NRDB) related to monitoring and application management built within the domain.Core ResponsibilitiesDirectly manage one or two teams (approx. 5-9 engineers including full time employees and contractors), providing regular feedback and coaching regarding both job performance and career development.Oversee the development and release of enhancements, new features and modifications to new and existing tools.Provide guidance to engineering team and other departments in identifying product and technical requirements.Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between engineering and partner technology and business teams.Partner with constituent teams and technical leads to ensure teams follow SDLC processes and conventions, enabling success of application release schedules.Serve as product owner including definition of features, user stories, and roadmap for the team and ensuring compliance to the overall portfolio management process.Display expertise in knowledge of software engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and their application in the area of specialty.Display expertise in process design and redesign skills. Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal audiences.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
