Location: Bethesda, MD USAMarketing & Advertising Coordinator Bethesda, MD USA In the role of Marketing/Advertising Coordinator, you will work closely with multiple departments including but not limited to production, creative, promotions and pricing teams to gather assets and content for all advertisements related to print media channels. As the Coordinator, you will be the keeper of all project details to ensure that requirements, project deliverables and deadlines are clearly communicated, understood and expertly executed by all involved. You will need to proactively identify issues or opportunities to deliver solutions and improvements. You will have demonstrated ability to support and understand the inner-workings of different teams and departments, work well with others, and be able to keep all team members goal focused. You will communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to team members and direct leadership on a regular basis. This position reports to the Production Manager, Print Operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Proofreading and QC for all advertising and marketing materials, including FSI, ROP, direct mail, email and promotional advertising data, for complete accuracy in pricing, copy, product photography, promotions and legal restrictions.* Working with the Copy team to ensure accurate messaging is used across all Advertising channels* Serve as main point of contact for in-store signage and postcard data proofing* Able to multi-task at a high level, with the ability to juggle a variety of projects, and adjust for spur-of-the-moment requests* Develop and maintain a positive and comprehensive relationship with all team members, including but not limited to peers in advertising, marketing and the merchandising departments* Maintain constant communication with promotions analysts to ensure ad content is clear and complete at turn in and throughout the entire production process.* Responsible for the InDesign versioning of print advertising specific to market variations in each applicable state.JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum Experience, Skills and Education:* Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, marketing or related field with 1-2 years of experience* Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel)* 3+ years traffic experience within a high-volume advertising or communications agency, graphic design firm or 1-2+ years related experience in retail advertising production or trafficking.Preferred Experience, Skills and Education:* Ability to use proofing marks and familiarity with different types of proofing styles* Strong knowledge of marketing/advertising workflows, processes and systems * Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written* Must be a confident, self-directed team player with strong relationship building skills* Market Expertise - Knowledge of the beer/wine/spirits industry is a plus - Retail experience is highly preferred* Team presence - Experience collaborating with project teams in an office environment* Entrepreneurship - Demonstrated ability to roll up his or her sleeves and solve problems where the playbook is still to be written* Detailed-oriented, proactive and organized, with the ability to multi-task, traffic and re-prioritize projects * Understands deadlines and works with a sense of urgency* Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs -- especially InDesignWe offerPaid Time Off (PTO)Generous store discountsHealth care plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision)401(k), HSA, FSA, Pre-tax commuter benefitsDisability & life insurance coveragePaid parental leaveCollege tuition assistanceCareer development & product trainingConsumer classes& More!Grow with usTotal Wine & More is the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine, beer and spirits, and we continue to grow our footprint year over year.
