SURVEY TECHNICIAN (1-3 Years’ Experience)

GORDON, a multi-disciplinary firm of design professionals with the common goal of providing creative design solutions to today’s challenging environment is seeking an entry level Survey Technician (office) for its Chantilly VA Headquarters office.  Our staff of Civil Engineers, Landscape Architects, Planners, Security Consultants, and Surveyors work together in an enjoyable work atmosphere where the employees’ goals are as important as the corporate goals.

Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license, have excellent math skills, exceed basic knowledge of CADD drafting through either experience or education and have additional skills with Microsoft office products. Working knowledge of Carlson, GeoPak or previous surveying experience a plus.  Upon hiring, the employee must complete 40 hours of field surveying training.  Occasional field survey work may be required to meet project schedules.
