Qualifications
To qualify for a Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE:The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy. Responsibilities
- Conducts analysis on data from sources such as requests for proposal (RFPs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), source selection documentation, contract modifications and reports for assigned projects.
- Uses knowledge of Defense Acquisition process and Federal government contracting techniques to lead projects and evaluate processes.
- Develops, evaluates and implements concepts, policies and procedures for the Defense Standardization Program (DSP)
- Utilizes knowledge of federal agencies and DoD component organizations and functions to develop draft policies and procedures, which will eventually be implemented by multiple DoD components
- Works with the senior program manager to perform planning, initiating and conducting complex and high priority studies and assignments involving extensive research, fact-finding, preparation of authoritative written information.

To qualify for a Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
- Provides advice and support to senior staff members, in addition to internal and external stakeholders on critical matters pertaining to complex policy and/or procedural issues
- Working knowledge of principles, concepts, objectives, policies and procedures as required by Public Law (e.g. P.L. 98- 525), and defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related federal and DoD documents (e.g., DFARS).
