The Kennedy Center seeks mature outgoing energetic Sales Associate available weekdays and some weekends, 10-20 hours per week.

Our Sales Associate is responsible for opening the shop, generating sales, cash register operations, housekeeping, restocking, signing and more, all while maintaining excellent customer service in accordance to Kennedy Center standards. Requires great communication, skills with the ability to work closely with management on day to day basis.

Education/Experience/Skills

High school diploma or GED required plus work experience.

Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; knowledge of customer service standards and procedures, ability to analyze and solve problems; ability to stand for long periods of time.

Some heavy lifting, up to 20 lbs., may be required.
