Sr Business Analyst II - Strategy for Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO). May telecommute, reporting to our HQ loc in Dulles, VA. Work in Product Dvlpmnt team incl gather & translate user needs into business reqs, functional specs, data applic & other artifacts. Dev business solutions w/ reuse, consistency & best practices. Analyze & research problems & ops. Solve probs. Evaluate proposals. Create & maintain docs (reference manuals, data applic, user guides, etc) & presentation mats. Give feedback post team reviews of artifacts. Be industry p.o.c & dev area of expertise in assigned products/areas. Implement standards & processes of Product Dvlpmnt Life Cycle. Work w/ Life Cycle of the Fare. Collaborate in cross-functional teams. Customer support & status communics. Team lead incl mentor & plan meetings. Help org industry meetings/working groups. Little domestic & international travel involved. May undergo background checks. Requires written & verbal communication skills. Must have Bachelors in Comp Sci, Engr, Business or related; and 5 yrs relevant exp in ATPCO products, travel industry or business analysis. Requires the following skills: (5 yrs exp) in airline ticket pricing and shopping, Agile, Scrum, UML, SQL, XML, MS Visio, and SDLC; and (2 yrs exp) in HTML and Data Mapping. Resume to S.
