Salesforce Communications Analyst

The Division for Enrollment Management supports core elements of the Mason strategic plan related to enrollment; new student enrollment strategy, retention, and graduation. About the Position: The Salesforce Communications Analyst is a key member of the enrollment management division, providing leadership and back end support of the Salesforce communications support including: support of daily operations, configuration changes, reporting, training, troubleshooting and working with stake holders to ensure that applications meet their current and evolving communications and marketing needs. The Salesforce Communications Analyst must have a deep technical understanding of Salesforce and the system's capabilities.

The Salesforce Communications Analyst will report to the Director of Enrollment Management and be a member of the team responsible for day to day support and maintenance of Mason's Salesforce platform, along with a strong connection to the Integrated Enrollment Marketing team. This role will collaborate with IT staff, client stakeholders and end users to support, enhance and expand the Salesforce operations and adoption, as it relates to the Communications and Marketing efforts. For the end users, the Salesforce Communications Analyst will provide operational support as well as focused and ongoing training. The successful individual will be a creative thinker, have intellectual curiosity and a competitive spirit in order to bring innovation and excellence to this key role.

Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to support the development of contact strategies and for content and creative in digital marketing campaigns; * Influence business partner decision making to optimize requirements prioritization; * Lead teams through conflict between multiple business partners; * Create, maintain views, reports and dashboards; * Data management and reporting as it relates to Communications and Marketing efforts; * Develop and provide one to one and small group user training. Develop and maintain documentation. Maintain user engagement; * Create plans for key CRM implementations and work with members of the key teams on the process of implementation; * Manage App Exchange integrations related to Marketing and Communications; * Other Duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: * Master's degree required or equivalent experience; * 2-3 years experience using Salesforce in a marketing and communications capacity; * 5 years CRM experience; * Must be well organized and detail oriented; * Significant experience working in content management systems; * Ability to manage change effectively and work with teams that collaborate with university stakeholders; * Understanding and willingness to work with ETL Tools; * Advanced knowledge of multi-channel communication campaigns how Salesforce can be utilized to implement these processes; * Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours and extended days with the ability to juggle competing priorities effectively.
