Paralegal Assistant (Silver Spring)
Paralegal Assistant: to provide comprehensive administrative support to the family law and civil litigation teams of a busy Downtown Silver Spring law firm.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing routine correspondence including legal documents and forms; scheduling appointments and coordinating meeting arrangements; maintaining attorney and paralegal calendars; preparing time-entries and performing other data entry; preparing court documents for filing; filing client and attorney documents in both hard copy and electronic formats; providing attorneys and paralegals with administrative support in copying, faxing, scanning, emailing, and mailing documents; answering and directing incoming calls and assisting with client intake; assisting with opening and maintaining client files; assisting with preparing, proof-reading, and transmitting monthly invoices to clients for services rendered.

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; good organizational, time management & customer service competency; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel; exhibit strong attention to detail; a willingness to learn & the ability to multitask in an office environment. Fluent Spanish speaker as second language required.
