AHRI has a vacancy in our Applied Sector for an Engineer. The Engineer's primary responsibility is the administration of certification programs associated with assigned industry sectors. Duties include conducting work-group meetings, communicating with member companies and manufacturers of HVAC/R products, and introducing companies to the AHRI certification program.
The position has the following qualification requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from a nationally accredited four-year college or university in engineering (emphasis on Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Minimum of one year of related work experience in the HVAC-R industry; experience giving presentations in a business setting and managing projects and/or work groups
Familiarity with and ability to use MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) and MS Outlook email at an intermediate level.
Certificates & Licenses:
LEED or EIT desired but not required.
