MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Project Manager (PM) to support multiple UAS and Counter UAS (CUAS) Projects in Southern Maryland and other locations in the United States. The UAS Project Manager will serve as lead technical authority on UAS and CUAS projects plus develop and lead a team performing systems engineering and integration activities.

Key Duties
  • Leads portfolio of UAS projects for the Rapid Engineering and Prototyping Solutions (REPS) sector of the MIL Corporation.
  • Serves as subject matter expert and lead technical authority on UAS and CUAS.
  • Implements Systems Engineering methodology to develop or modify UAS and CUAS, communications links, and other payloads.
  • Provides project planning and execution in support of government program managers.
  • Assists with preparation and reviews deliverables prepared by project teams.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, delivered, and stored appropriately.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Prepares and presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Identifies opportunities for additional work in the UAS and CUAS fields.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS and 10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) mission and organization.
  • Experience working with military and commercial UAS.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense UAS Groups 1 through 5.
  • Systems Engineering knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
