Job Summary/Company: Do you enjoy working closely with political consultants and organizations to make a positive impact on the election cycle for Democratic nominees and the Progressive agenda? Our partner, a digital advertising firm works hand in hand with Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations to deliver intelligent, creative, strategic and targeted digital content to connect advertisers to the most impactful audiences. This firm is hiring for a Public Affairs Sales Director; this strategic role will catapult the firm into the targeted advertising market focusing on public affairs campaigns. Candidates should have a robust sales background and pipeline within industry, strong knowledge of digital ad sales/strategy and desire to succeed quarter over quarter, year over year. Apply below.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of political technology, public affairs advocacy and/or media sales to jumpstart and propel conversations with prospective clients and buyers.
  • Proposal writing, networking and sourcing new business; in addition, pitching to current and potential clients.
  • Drive to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Consultative and client focused attitude.
  • Successful approach to client outreach and engagement through cold calls and emails.
  • Performing online and in-person sales pitches.
  • Drafting and completing competitive responses to RFP's.
  • Development of client focused strategic media plans within budget.
  • Manage and maintain pre-existing relationships with firm network.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated successful sales experience, ideally in political technologies, media sales or ad tech.
  • Significant and meaningful experience writing proposals, networking and sourcing new business
  • Existing network of contacts in progressive public affairs arena
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce preferred, familiar with Google Apps, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Project Management tools such as Asana, highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
