We specialize in mechanical pipe, duct, and equipment insulation in both the commercial and light industrial sectors; we do a lot of work at Hospitals, Schools, Apartment Buildings, Hotels, State & Local Buildings, and many other commercial buildings. We have been in business for almost 25 years and more than half of our employees have been with the company for at least 5 years. We have a steady base of loyal customers and have been growing rapidly over the last year. Our customers come to us because we are the best in the DC Metropolitan area. About The Position This Position will report to our office (in Sterling, VA) each day* and will load any materials/ladders/etc. that are needed and then SAFELY deliver (including unloading) the load to our different projects located all over the DC Metro Area. If deliveries are complete for the day and you have only worked part of the day you will be sent to a project to install and/or learn how to install mechanical insulation. Mechanical Insulation involves installing different types of insulation to mechanical systems, such as piping, duct work, & equipment. *Most likely the position will involve deliveries for at least part of each day, however, if no deliveries are needed you will report directly to whatever project you're needed on. This Individual MUST: PASS a Drug Test in order to Operate a Company Vehicle (Insurance Requirement & pre-employment condition) Have a Clean Driving Record & Be A SAFE and Experienced Driver in the DC Metro Area (Insurance Rq'd & pre-employment condition) Not more than 1 Speeding Ticket, NO Wreckless Driving Tickets, DUI's, etc. Be Reliable, Motivated, & Willing to Learn Be "Good with His/Her Hands" Be Able to lift up to 65lbs.
