Summary: The Operations Finance Analyst will work closely with our operations and finance/accounting teams, product managers, engineers, and senior leadership to provide insights and analyses that drive product strategy, innovation, profitability, and adoption of our products. We're looking for someone with strong quantitative skills and experience with data analysis who is motivated by fast-paced environments, collaboration, and ownership over strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: Create models to facilitate quantitatively-based decision making across operations and finance senior leadership Synthesize data to discover trends, patterns, and insights. Validate and recommend projects based on cost/benefit analyses and financial models Ensure data quality and integrity and present key performance metrics in a way that optimizes cross-departmental communication and drives transparency, visibility, and collaboration across the company Partner with our finance/accounting team to ensure seamless coordination between operating performance and financial tracking and reporting Support the team with ad hoc data requests Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or other quantitative field. Coursework in accounting a plus 4-5 years of relevant experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Understanding of financial statements and ability to comprehend financial implications of the various scenarios or projects that you will model and analyze Experience with Excel modeling and SQL as part of a highly analytical and quantitative skill set, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in scenario analysis Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, non-linear work environment Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively toward a common goal Preferred Qualifications: Corporate finance experience Graduate degree in a related field Experience with Domo, Google Analytics, and other data analysis tools
