Charles E. Smith Life Community is searching for an energetic self-starter to work as Financial Customer Service Specialist. The ideal candidate for this position will have the opportunity to become part of a department that continues to grow and provide top quality services to its customers! The primary responsibility of this position is to meet with the family/resident of every prospective admission to LTC at Charles E. Smith Life Communities (CESLC) and determine financial status. In this meeting, appropriate financial documentation is reviewed and proper notification is provided to the resident and their family, outlining their requirements for CESLC to receive payment for services rendered. This position will continue to provide customer support by addressing all financial questions and concerns from residents and their families related to financial coverage at admission through the establishment of the appropriate payer source. This role will support the Financial Relations Coordinator and the CESLC Admissions and Social Work teams by determining financial status for LTC transfer residents as outlined in established CESLC processes.
