We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Payroll Administrator position. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Vienna, VA and will report to our Controller. The Payroll Administrator will join our accounting team. The Payroll Administrator will support semi-monthly payroll process, project set-up, new employee set-up, annual compliance, and a wide range of payroll and accounting processes. Responsibilities: Process semi-monthly disbursement of payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes Process new hires, promotions, terminations accurately and in a timely manner in Deltek Costpoint 7 Perform payroll data entry processing, including hours worked, paid leave taken, compensation changes, deductions, exemption and withholding changes, direct deposit changes and any other payroll related actions requested by or though Human Resources or Finance department Researches payroll issues/discrepancies, and processes necessary corrections Assist employees with payroll related questions and issues Complete employment verification request and employment letters Work with internal and external auditors on compliance and regulatory matters Provide other administrative support to the Finance Department Payroll administration: 1-5+ years of experience preferred Deltek CostPoint 7 accounting experience preferred Paylocity HR and Payroll System experience preferred Detailed oriented, organized and able to multi-task Able to maintain absolute objectivity and confidentiality with all employees and all payroll related data Proficiency in Microsoft office applications; particularly Excel Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
