ECS is seeking a Communications Specialist to work in our Fairfax, VA office. Job Description: ECS is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a positive "can-do" attitude to help coordinate the scheduling activities of a large and complex migration to Office 365. As the Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and facilitating Office 365 Project Coordination meetings with various representatives from multiple different departments. The purpose of these meetings is to set expectations, answer questions, obtain customer buy-in, and ultimately help coordinate a time when that group can move forward with the migration. The right individual needs to be very detail oriented, good with Microsoft Excel, have a positive attitude, and be comfortable with juggling multiple schedule updates. While a technical background is not required, it is helpful.The position is expected to work remote most of the time. Occasional travel to Washington DC or Denver, CO to meet with customers may be required from time to time.Please note, this position is a full-time position and has the benefit of being able to work remote most of the time. As such it is up to the candidate to ensure that they are working in a professional setting. Candidates must have access to high speed Internet Access and a quiet place in which to work free of distractionsRequired Skills:Must be a US CitizenMust have an Associate or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institutionMust be able to obtain a Public Trust ClearanceYou should have a solid understanding of accepted change management standards (eg, Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, etc.), and the ability to be flexible and customize results-oriented solutions for unique situations.You understand through experience how change impacts all levels of an organization and are adept at crafting comprehensive communications to support change.More than two years' of experience performing organizational change management functions.Demonstrated success in helping mid-sized and large organizations through significant change initiatives in the public sector.Demonstrated experience in implementing and supporting communication plans for large scale IT services projects.Demonstrated success in identifying, analyzing, and addressing the risks and anticipated points of resistance associated with large scale organizational change and transformation.Effective management of client relationships and expectations.Direct experience developing and executing communications in support of messaging tools migrations would be a huge plus - eg, a migration from Exchange on-premises to Exchange Online, an implementation of an instant messaging tool like Skype or Teams, a switch from Google to Exchange, a mobile device migration, etc. It will be very helpful if you have prior understanding of the complex factors involved in major IT digital transformation projects.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.Desired Skills:Any experience supporting prior Office 365 migrations or mailbox migrations.PMP certification or project management training.Experience supporting medium to large Government customersECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
