We are currently seeking a Senior Applications System AnalystProgrammer to work for our company. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for a wide variety of functions to include but not limited to Maintenance of existing COBOL code, to include modifications and enhancements as necessary to meet business needs. Writes and updates software specifications and documentation for new or existing systems React to software problems identified and perform any necessary analysis to resolve the problem. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and designs computer systems to process data. Analyzes systems and procedures to refine their formulation and converts them to programmable formats. Supports existing business systems applications. Requirements Must currently have, or be able to obtain, a CBP BI (Public Trust) Clearance Must have 20 plus years of experience in system development with COBOL programing, specifically with scheduling and time and attendance systems. Must be familiar with all aspects of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) from Requirements through Operations and Maintenance. Must have good customer relations and communications skills, and be able to translate technical terminology into understandable terms for business and non-technical users.
