Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a program director with faculty rank for the accredited radiologic technology program. The program director is responsible for teaching multiple classes per semester, curriculum design, program administration and accreditation, student evaluation and advisement, and outcomes assessment. Requirements include a bachelor's degree with the requirement to obtain a master's degree within two years of employment; five years of full-time clinical work experience in diagnostic radiography; graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology accredited program (JRCERT); American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in diagnostic radiography; current (or able to obtain by employment start date) Maryland state license; and excellent interpersonal, computer, oral and written communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants with two years of teaching experience in a clinical setting and/or classroom, advanced ARRT or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certifications, and JRCERT accreditation experience. This 12-month position includes full benefits. The starting salary is competitive, depending on qualifications and experience.
