Core duties and responsibilities include the following: - Management of all accounting operations to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of the accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy - Researching, drafting, and issuing policy memos on US GAAP standards to include ASC 310 - Managing A/P, A/R, Payroll, and General Ledger teams to ensure a timely monthly close - Supervision of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate local, state, and federal government reporting requirements - Management of treasury functions and summarizing data into reports for key stakeholders - Ensure payroll is accurately processed - Developing employees by implementing a plan for upward internal mobility For more information on this and other full-time accounting and finance opportunities across the DC metro area, please contact David P.
