His email is?[Click Here to Email Your Resum?].?Location: Washington, DCLength:?Temp to hireClearance: Public TrustCulture: Tight-knit team looking to invest in new talent!Perks: Business Casual attire (jeans are acceptable), foot-in-the-door opportunity, ability to set your own pace?Responsibilities:Monitor network infrastructure for operational integrity, health, and availabilityMonitor environmental factors of data centers and network closets.Perform installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of access devices (wireless and wired switches) including port utilization, assignments, and documentationConfiguration Mgmt. - Maintain high quality network equipment records, network maps, switch runs, closet configurations, and jack setups.Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance on telecommunication circuits including Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical circuits.Enable/disable data jacks, configure switch ports and vlans, and troubleshoot network issuesUse network management tools and related test equipmentSubmit daily, weekly, and monthly activities reportsClearly and accurately detail, monitor, and track all work and configuration changes (through Footprints Work Requests)Qualifications:2+ years of Network support experience including DWDM.Must have the following Cisco certifications: CCNAExperience with Windows, MS Office and Visio is neededMust have an active Public Trust clearance.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
