Position Overview In alignment with our client's core values, the Company's desire to assist clients, the personal and professional goals of our people, and the growth of the company, the Director of Human Resources & Talent Management will lead the development and deployment of integrated people strategies which deliver an engaging experience throughout the key moments that matter in the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Company's President, this role will focus on the management and implementation of talent assessment, human resources, performance management, succession planning, as well as employee engagement and the overall company listening strategy. To ensure effectiveness, the Director will be responsible for analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to measure key outcomes, and develop action plans for continual improvement of the employee experience. This person, in collaboration with existing talent management staff, will serve as the thought leader for talent management programs and the employee experience across the organization. This position will work closely with existing talent and personnel as well as key department leaders to understand the organization's talent needs and to design, develop and implement programs and tools that drive employee engagement and enable business imperatives. The company has grown from a small, single-digit employee base to nearly 100 employees due to the expansion of services, geographies and overall capability. We expect explosive growth and we need a leader to get us ahead of the curve in terms of people. The successful candidate must be equipped to offer a fresh perspective, demonstrate a passion for leading change, serve in a collaborative manner, and inspire matrixed cross-functional teams.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work with ownership, management and all employees to define and support an integrated and holistic approach to effectively attract, retain and develop talent in addition to mitigating risk Develop and execute talent management strategy, prioritizing short and long term needs as applicable based on departmental forecasting Ability to implement new initiatives and drive change through effective stakeholder management and communications A strategic thinker who can maintain a big-picture perspective; able to link programs, activities, and communications in ways that support a cohesive employee experience. Due to current and projected company growth, the Director will be responsible for spearheading talent programs and initiatives in-line with the Company's goals and aimed at making the team dynamic and world-class through the design and implementation of solutions that continually enhance the employee experience. Create/revise and implement HR and Talent Management SOPs Be the working manager of a team of 3, overseeing the day-to-day activities and execution of all aspects of talent management initiatives and HR duties. Oversee the DC Office operational updates, to include inclement weather instructions, training coordination, team updates, etc. Lead the research, development and execution of our employee listening strategy, including the design and analysis of all quantitative and qualitative measures including the use of "people metrics, surveys, stay and exit interviews, HR newsletters, etc. Create processes based around compensation and employee relations that focus on fairness, equity and inclusivity. Review, oversee and recommend current and future compensation planning initiatives. Ensure HR policies, processes and procedures are in line with regulatory compliance Measure and monitor program(s) effectiveness and develop strategies to improve business impact. Function as a strategic thought partner to leaders and employees Improve and streamlined the New Employee Orientation program and monitor its effectiveness to understand long-term impact Design and implement effective HR/people surveys to gather and leverage valuable internal data Develop strong cross-functional partnerships in a fast paced, ever-changing organization.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology, or related discipline preferred. HR and/or OD Certification Preferred Preferred experience working for a services firm 7+ years in an HR role with 5 or more years of direct Talent Management experience Project management experience; strong project planning and management skills; able to manage multiple key projects and initiatives simultaneously
