Whitlock has an great opportunity for an experienced technical leader to manage our team of Systems Designers and CAD Technicians. This person will need to have great leadership, customer and technical skills.?The primary responsibilities for this position will be working with our Regional Director and Technical Operations Manager to set the tone technically for integration projects. The SIM will work closely?with sales to provide design and delivery of multiple audiovisual, and?video collaboration?projects. Mentor, manage, recruit technical staff for the implementation of projects. Be a leader in developing and implementing company standards for Design. What we give to a customer is the ability to connect, work together and share ideas with a reliable video experience.?Whatever you?re trying to do, and who ever needs to join in, we?ll help you share it with the world.Our company promotes and rewards client-focused behavior, entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, integrity and a passion for success.Past project management experience preferredCurrent familiarity with commercial audiovisual, and videoconferencing?Additional specific experience in Control Room design and integration is a plus.Infocomm CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plusPast experience in CAD, and Designing complex AV and Video Solutions in the Enterprise marketStrong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.Good math skills, including calculation of gross profit margins and markup.Specific aptitude with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to sort, cut, paste, produce formulas and convert TWG data to client or consultant specified formats.?Team player.Self-sufficient, self-motivated, organized, reliable and punctual.Professional demeanor and good people skills including the ability to interact well with customers, office personnel, field technicians, project managers, vendors, management, etc.Excellent work ethic and dedication to schedule commitments.Ability to travel regularly daily within the?primary office?area and additionally through the US for customer site surveys and assessments.? Travel outside?the primary office area?could be as much as 25%.A minimum of a Bachelors degree, preferably in electrical engineering or a closely related audiovisual, media or broadcast related field.A minimum of 10 years experience directly in the field of audiovisual and/or broadcast integration.A minimum of 10 years in an engineering, design and commissioning role.
