TransForce has an immediate need for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in?our headquarters office. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full life-cycle recruitment of TransForce staff positions to include recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). The Talent Acquisition Specialist will serve as business partner in identifying qualified talent, developing standard hiring approaches and implementing recruitment best practices. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the Human Resources Team in accomplishing broader HR initiatives.?? Develops standard hiring approaches for most frequently-hired staff positions (eg Recruiters, Operations Supervisors, Account Executives, etc.) in conjunction with position descriptions provided by Hiring Managers. Creates job requisitions, writes and posts job advertisements via job boards. Maintains all applicant and employee data/documentation as dictated by governing agencies.Reviews applications, screens resumes and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job-related requirements (by phone or in person). Administers appropriate assessments and conducts reference/background checks; makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned territory.Facilitates the interview process with the hiring team in a timely manner. Utilizes technology to accelerate the hiring process (eg Skype interviews, LinkedIn or other online research resources).? Utilizes recruiting tools such as job boards and appropriate social media platforms to fill openings in an efficient and timely manner. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources (eg career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc.) to identify and attract quality candidates.Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. Identifies target profiles in the staffing and transportation sectors to assist in filling open positions.? Manages internal transfer process to include screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Conducts follow-up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process. Extends verbal and written contingent job offers to candidates. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (eg, benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements, etc.).Manages current candidate activity. Provides updates and reporting on recruitment/candidate pipeline activity. Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.Collaborates with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.Remains abreast of the company?s benefits programs and perks to better position TransForce to applicants and in the market as an employer of choice. Answers and responds to employee inquires.Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry and discipline.Required Education and ExperienceAt least three years of prior full life cycle recruiting experience.?Preferred Education and Experience ?Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources or equivalent in experience.Experience using video interview technology to facilitate the recruitment process (eg Skype, FaceTime, Google, etc.).?? Experience in sourcing and attracting candidates using social media networking tools and platforms (eg LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).HRIS database experience.SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
