Job Number: R0054834 Software Engineer, Mid Key Role: Provide day-to-day, hands-on, tactical leadership to the sof tware development team. Oversee the team's operations and processes, champion and model sof tware quality and craftsmanship, and update stakeholders on progress. Assist the development team with managing expectations, building and communicating realistic plans, and continuo us ly improve. Support program and project managers with second-level management of te chn ical delivery staff and participate in hiring and training staff. Basic Qualifications: -Experience with Java programming language -Experience with designing and implementing sof tware to satisfy a given set of requirements -Experience in developing Web services and deploying them us ing applications servers -Experience with JavaScript, Eclipse, Apache Tomcat, REST, Maven CSS, and AngularJS -Experience in creating new sof tware to leverage existing libraries, including APIs -Knowledge of sof tware development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing -Secret clearance -BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience with Sof tware Engineering in lieu of a degree Additional Qualifications: -Experience with C# and related tools and IDEs -Experience with Linux-based operating systems -BA or BS degree in CS Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
