The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong creative bent, and the ability to use language as a means to communicate complex information clearly and accurately. As a technical writer, you will be responsible for tasks such as writing conceptual overviews, gathering information on technical implementation, and creating and developing standard operating procedures that are easy to understand for internal and external stakeholders. You will be required to juggle multiple projects and have the ability to connect disparate technical components in a clear, accurate, and engaging way. Technical writers are the bridge between developers, users, clients, and various other stakeholders. Required Skills Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Visio Adobe creative suite (ie, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Experience working with software engineer and development teams and gather necessary variables during the development of different documentations Experience writing and developing technical documents and artifacts using standards and outlines relating to business proposals, reports, briefings, user manuals, presentations, system specifications, guidelines, and other project deliverables Ability to ensure consistency of message and information across multiple programmatic documentations Experience reviewing and editing documentations created in support of information technology projects Ability to make recommendations on improvements and implement them efficiently Ability to create and design graphic illustrations that clearly and efficiently represent complex technical concepts and are visually appealing Desired Skills 3-5 years technical writing and process documentation experience Graphic design capabilities including Illustrator and InDesign Knowledge and experience with Software Development Lifecycle Excellent written and communication skills Ability to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities and strong time management skills Bachelorrsquos degree in Business, Communications, Journalism or related field (technology background preferred)
