Experienced Cisco Unified Communications Engineer responsible for supporting Cisco Unified Communications applications. This role requires having a strong networking background, an authoritative voice and Unified Communications experience. Daily Job Responsibilities Provide Tier 2Tier 3 support for Cisco Unified Communications applications Collaboration Unified Communications design implementation experience Certificate Management in some of the following Cisco Unified Communications ManagerCall Manager (CUCM) working in Mixed Mode Cisco Unity Connection (CXN) through SIP and SCCP integrations Cisco Contact Center Express (UCCX) including script design and implementation Cisco Unified IM and Presence (IMP) including persistent chat, managed file transfers and compliance settings InformaCast Advanced and Mobile Paging Cisco Telepresence Video Communication Server (VCS) including Mobile and Remote Access Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) including provisioning and maintaining SX20 and SX80 codecs Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) provision spaces and integrate with Call Manager Understanding the various protocols used throughout the Cisco Collaboration Suite including H323 SIP SCCP Ability to maintain all previously mentioned systems through standard patching, upgrades, and security advisories Extensive knowledge of Cisco's IOS operating systems Voice Gateways Routers Switches Experience working with Cisco TAC Linux and Active Directory experience Present and maintain a consistent professional image to customer and colleagues Possess a customer focused attitude who can successfully manage customer expectations Ability to think critically, excellent reasoning and troubleshooting skills Requirements Degree and year of experience Ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance. Self-starting individual with the ability to work independently on issues with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented technical and strong analytical skills. Exceptional customer service and follow up skills. Good interpersonal skills to be able to interface with customer and end users. Ability to document repetitive, support tasks in the form of standard operating procedures. Position may require working nights andor weekends for troubleshooting and any other special circumstances. Desired Certifications CCNP Collaboration, CCVP, or CCIE Collaboration CCNA Collaboration Additional certs are a plus Bachelors plus 10 years experience or Masters plus 5 years experience or over 12 years of applicable experience
