Summary

You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Assistant Director Combat Support Directorate, Business Operations Branch (AD CS) of DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for planning and organizing the study, estimating costs, coordinating with staff and line management personnel, and conducting all phases of the project.
  • You will conduct comprehensive studies of work/management projects with objectives to improve economy and efficiency of operation and personnel assets with the Assistant Director Combat Support (AD CS).
  • You will establish priorities, integrate region-wide business planning and strategic management work, and be the focal point and representative on all regional business planning and strategic management activities.
  • You will manage the AD CS positions and coordinate replacements through the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Human Resources Division (HRD) and Military Personnel Support Division (MPSD).
  • You will be responsible for accounting for all spaces allocated to support the AD CS mission by the documentation and distribution of manpower resource guidance.
  • You will develop related administrative regulations, such as those governing the allocation and distribution of personnel, supplies, equipment and other resources.
  • You will develop and maintain data for recurring and special manpower reports depicting utilization of AD CS workforce.
  • You will present changes and/or manpower proposals, conduct briefings and prepare correspondence/reports.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing project requirements to ensure manpower resources are allocated in coordination with business plans.
