Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to the DoDEA Chief and Deputy Chief, Diversity Management and Equal Opportunity Division on all matters pertaining to the program functions.
  • Evaluate program and management operation issues for efficiency to provide recommendations.
  • Implement and evaluate programs in support of DoDEA programs, policies, and objectives.
  • Assess management operations to determine adequacy of existing support systems and recommends improved processes or enhanced automation.
  • Train staff on procedures to ensure documents are organized for efficient automated storage and retrieval.
  • Conduct detailed planning to gather information, interpret administrative records and prepare reports.
  • Participate with office management in formulating and implementing office administration processes to coordinate administrative services.
  • Perform complex statistical analysis of employment concerns to prepare reports which outline deficiencies and provide recommendations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing improvement recommendations to implement solutions; analyzing program needs to formulate procedures for local offices and/or managers; and preparing reports regarding program or management operations for submission to appropriate offices.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
