IT Project Manager
Key Role:

Provide project management support within an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program for DoD health-related information technology systems. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, track risks and issues, and monitor and review vendor schedules. Provide input to the PMO Integrated Master Schedule, create project status reports and briefings, and advise the government on technical best practices in alignment with DoD policies. This position is located on client-site in Arlington, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

-Experience with producing client-ready deliverables and briefing senior leadership

-Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within program or project management, business case reports, risks, and issues

-Knowledge of the JCIDs requirements process and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree and 6+ years of experience in a professional work environment

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with implementing clinical information systems in the commercial or government sectors

-Experience with agile development efforts

-Experience with major and complex DoD IT or weapons systems

-Experience with Defense Health Agency (DHA) or Military Health System (MHS) projects a plus

-Ability to adapt to changing priorities, show initiative, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks with client supervisors in a fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including briefing senior leadership

-Public Trust clearance

-Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe Certification
