DutiesThis will be done with clear written and verbal communications by performing the following dutiesThe Project Team Manager is dedicated to ensuring that our client's needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner, by managing large scale resets, remodels and new store openings. They are responsible for developing and assisting the Field Operation Management Team with new programs and processes that will improve the accountability, visibility and efficiency of the Projects Division. The position is responsible for personally conducting resets, as well as managing hourly labor when assigned to do so. They are responsible for scheduling; reporting and ensuring resets are done within their assigned districts, accurately, completely and on time.Major Areas of Responsibility Project management with new store build for merchandise flow Coordinate all field activities with the VP of Operations Direct fixture crews, vendors, stocking crews and additional requests for a new store Run crew for remodel and new store builds Communicate with team verbally and in written visual merchandising direction Resolve preliminary floor set issues Build, maintain and promote a strong working relationship with retail store management and clients Manage hours worked for hourly employees and temporary laborers and report within time-keeping utility Submit all work orders and photos and complete sign-off form with a member of store management at the completion of each day Submit weekly status reports to VP of Operations Assist other territories with projects, when necessary Discuss and gain approval from VP of Operations prior to any disciplinary action being taken with direct reports or temporary laborers Recruit, hire, and hold crew members responsibleJob Requirements 1-2 years management or team lead experience 2-3 years retail merchandising, new stores builds/remodels High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation and driver's license, and must be able to provide proof of insurance Ability to travel extensively, up to 95% of the time, depending on the workload in the assigned area Self-motivated leader who does not require constant supervision Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to foster relationships with store management and peers to deliver high quality results Strong organizational skills Ability to read and understand planograms, schematics, and blueprints Experience with one or more gondola systems is a must Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel, database software, and must be internet and email savvy Professional appearance, presentation, and groomingPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
